Adding 1.5 ml lactic acid helped to drop pH - gravity is still low; Updated recipe to include this additional 1.5 ml lactic acid since it was effective in dropping pH and might have helped to hit gravity targets (?) |

13.8 BrixWRI and 18 3/4” - using foundry gallon markings looks more like 5.4 gal but could be some has boiled off while heating up (but that much?)

OG came from post-boil Brix-WRi measurement AND from first Tilt measurement posted to Brewer's Friend (very first was a bit lower when checked on iPhone app immediately after putting Tilt in fermenter)
At end of boil, used laser to measure 16.5" which is 4.5 gal. After transferring to fermenter, measured remaining liquid with measuring glass to be 3.5 cups or 0.22 gal. So estimate 4.28 gal transferred to fermenter |
