30th Aug Brew20
Mash start at 0810 - 0940 at 67C 12 litres to 4.5 kg grain.
Collect 20Litres and fire up boiler. Add another 8 litres. Boil achieved at 1115. 60gms Wakatu and 20gms Nelson Sauvin added in spider at 1150 ( a bit late due to Jared visiting, house sale excitement and coffee ). Cooler in at 1200 to sterilise. Flame out at 1240. 24Litres after boil. Start chilling at 1245. 20gms Citra and 20gms Mosaic into wort as hopback at 1255.
Stop chilling at 1335 and start runoff to fermenter. Collect 20Litres.
OG1050-52. Pitch ( saved from Brew19 ) MJ M44 at 2030.
Saturday 31st 0820 bubbling away every 3-4 secs already. Go Brew20.
Monday 2nd Oct still bubbling every 5 secs.
Tuesday 3rd bubbling every 15-18 secs. Taste and smell really good.
Wednesday 4th bubbling every 40 or so secs.
Thursday 5th. Transfer from MJ to SS26 with 30gms Mosaic, 30gms Citra and 30gms Nelson Sauvin as Dry Hop.
Wednesday 11th at 1315 set temp to 7C.
Saturday 14th - Final Gravity 1012-14. Start bottling at 11.00 and
collect 24x750ml and 1x500ml = 18.5 Litres.
