Notes

Brewed on 9/17/18
Mash grains for 60 minutes - starting temp 160 F, ending temp 152 F. Bring H2O to boil and add LME. Add grain mash to brew pot, return to boil. Add 1 oz Cascade, boil for 30 minutes. Add 0.5 oz Cascade, boil for 20 minutes. Add honey and 1 tsp Irish Moss. Return to boil and boil for 10 minutes. Cool and pitch yeast (rehydrated in H2O). Add 0.5 oz Cascade Hops. Added 1.5 tsp Fermaid K 42 hours after pitching.

Sg = 1058 on 9/17/18, Rg = 1009 on 9/28/18, Bg = 1008 on 10/14/18 with 5 oz priming sugar

Not my best beer. Too bitter for style. Dry hop experimental also failed with this honey beer. Phenol present. After 8 weeks, over carbonated as well.
