Notes
No water dilution. Use tap with water agents.
Combine unmalted wheat with 3/4 lb. Belgian Pilsner and 3.25 gallon water. Bring to 140F and hold 15 min. Raise temp to boil and boil 30 min., stirring constantly. Remove from heat
After boiling mash for 30 min. Strike remaining grain in mash tun with 1.1 gallon water @136. Let rest 30 min. or until cereal mash cools to 148F.
Add cereal mash to mash tun. Stir to combine. Temperature should be about 141F. Cover and hold for 30 min.
Add 6 qt. boiling water to raise temperature to 158F. Cover and hold for 30 min.
Add 7.2 qt. boiling water to raise temp to 170F. Rest 10 min. Add additional .5 gallon water before draining wort.
Proceed as normal.
