Notes
Pitched reusing 1/2 cup of yeast cake slurry from last batch (yeast, hops, trub, everything) mixed with fresh wort for a few hours.
Very active fermentation in 12 hours.
Fermented for 7 days at 64 in primary
Dropped temp 5 per day to 30^ (7 days)
Cold crash at 30 for two days
Bottled and laagered for 1 month @ 54
This beer turned out awesome, absolutely perfect. Exactly like lagers I've had in Czech. I think it's my new "go-to". Now if I am able to resist temptation, I'd like to try a bottle at 2,3,4, and 6 months.
