Notes

This will be the first brew with Kveik Yeast. Don't have a great way to temp control fermentation. This Yeast can withstand high temps, so the ambient temp in the Apartment should make for a nice fermentation.

Bottled the beer two and half weeks ago. This beer is thick, great nose, smells earthy, pick up a slight chocolate smell and tastes. Nice brown head, earthy flavor and good mouth feel. Probably the best tasting beer I have made to date. Shared with a few guys, they all liked it (who doesn't like free beer?).

Third brew with this recipe. Changing the hops to cascade, going for more of an American style stout over English or Irish. Adding coco puff to the mash, going to try this cereal trend.
