Notes

Mash:
Heat 6.5 gallons of water to 150 F then add Flaked Corn and White Wheat malt in grain bag with plenty of space for the gains to expand. Let rest at 150 F for 50 minutes.

Add 5 lbs of Pilsen Dry Malt Extract (DME) OR 6 lbs of Pilsen Liquid Malt Extract (LME)

Raise kettle to the boiling point and then follow the below hop schedule:

  • Add 0.75 oz Simcoe hops @ 20 minutes remaining in boil.
  • Add 1 oz Amarillo hops @ 5 minutes remaining in boil

    Cool to 70 F and then pitch yeast.

    Ferment for 2 weeks then add 1 oz. Amarillo dry hops in muslin bag for 4 days and then package into bottles w/ priming sugar. 5 gallons = 50 bottles.
