Started off brewing with a Mr. Beer kit a few years back. It smelled like feet and didn't taste like any beer I'd purchase commercially. That put my home brewing on the back burner for awhile.
I picked up the hobby again a year ago (early 2014) with extract kits and a plastic buckets. I was extremely pleased by the product and have been brewing since. I still do extract brewing/mini-mashes primarily. Planning to take the all-grain plunge within the next year.
I'm all about Belgian beers, but anything is game.
Beer makes you feel the way you ought to feel without beer. -Henry Lawson
