After brewing myself, I recommend dialing back the late hop addition to 1 ounce. 1.6 was quite pungent, and overwhelming. I'm guessing this wasn't as noticable with claw hammer's reviews as they lagered for 2 months. My guess is this hop character would have dissipated a bit by then.
For me, I got a lot of dill flavour as well as lemon flavour from Sorachi Ace. If I brew this again, I might consider cutting the hop addition with some Hallertau Tradition, which is one of my favourite hops.
