WATER:
11L Copenhagen tap water.
Strike temp: 74°C for 68°C single infusion rest.
Wrapped in insulation.
Acidification of strike...
10ml Lactic Acid (80%).
2g CaSO4 (Gypsum).
Acidification of sparge...
5ml Lactic Acid (80%) (** forgotten, explains the slightly higher than expected mash pH.**)
No salt editions.

WATER:
11L Copenhagen tap water.
Strike temp: 74°C for 68°C single infusion rest.
Wrapped in insulation.
Acidification of strike...
10ml Lactic Acid (80%).
2g CaSO4 (Gypsum).
Acidification of sparge...
5ml Lactic Acid (80%).
No salt editions.
MASH:
Mashed in with leftover pre-crushed grains (crushed min. 9months ago).
Mashed for a single rest t 68°C for 60mins.
100g of nordmannsgran branches with needles on added to the mashout.
Mashed out at 72°C for 10mins while stirring with whisk.
Biab removed and added to sparge bucket.
5g Galaxy FWH added to first runnings
Sparged with 6L @ 55°C for 20mins.
Collected 14L.
Pre-boil SG: 1.034
pH: 5.5ph (sparge acid addition forgotten...).
BOIL:
80min boil.
Boil-off = 3L (Pre-boil: 14L. Flameout: 11L)
FWH (5g Galaxy) into first runnings while batch sparging.
20g younger spruce branches (including one small 2cm trimming of stem for some resin) added @ 5mins.
Whirlpool: 15g galaxy added. Whirpooled for 30mins. Chilled with immersion chiller. Transferred only clear wort to fermenter (hence a little low on yield, fair amount of coldbreak).
Final yield: ~ 9L.
OG: 1.046
50g of table sugar boiled in 200ml tapwater added to chilled fermenter.
