A 3 Gallon tea session with the CaraRed. at 150 to 155. Let the Grain Bag drain naturally. Be patient. Add a fourth Gallon. Bring to boil, remove from burner, add extracts.stirring to break up balls of powder if using DME. Retun to burner bring up to boil. Watch for the hot break(a sudden foaming in the pot.Usually right at boiling temp 212). dont let it boil over. Add the first hop addition 60. add second addition 30 and add a yeast nutrient at 10.Flame out cool wort to 60 65 pitch yeast. Ferment at least 2 weeks. Take hydrometer reading.
