Notes

This recipe can take up to 6 hrs, labor intensive with the triple decoction. Initially starts with a very pale mash but darkens to a deep golden color with the boiling of the grains, (Maillard reaction).
Efficiency is definitely better, up to 90% or better.
Pitch yeast @ 48° let rise to 50° and after 5 days to 54° until complete.
Lager 1 week for every gravity point, i.e. 1.050 = 5 weeks, minimum.
Dry, complex flavor, malty and caramel/toffee flavors. Very good head retention. Saaz aroma.
Very drinkable.
Na zdraví!
