Notes

Brewed on 29/09

Mash seemed to be a little stuck.
Very low fly sparge rate required.

Preboil gravity recorded at 1039, very low compared original recipe.
Boiled for 25 minutes before first wort hop addition to try and increase gravity.

OG subsequently recorded at 1048 after boil, very low compared to original recipe stating expected OG should be 1058 @ 75% efficiency.

Yeast pitched at 18 degrees; ferment set at 17 degrees.
Fermentation signs showed on 01/10

NOTE: Original recipe has wrong OG stated. Spoke to Ben at Grain and Grape, he agreed that 1048 is a more suitable OG for this recipe.
