Notes

Made a pint starter of DME with Notty Dry pack overnight at 70 degrees.

Pitched at 1pm with wort at 70F. Moved immediately to 65F basement. Fermentation within 4 hours, vigorous for 2 1/2 days. Great attenuation and yeast pack.

Boil 45 minutes total (to save evaporation) add hops last 30, Whirlfloc last 15. 5.75 gallons in carboy

Use bag for whole hops


Pre boil gravity 1041

Post boil (OG) 1045 5.75 gallons

Final Gravity (FG) 1006 - 5% alcohol
