Notes
Looking for a banana dominating flavor. Named after the awesome Runtz candy where you always wanted the banana both for the flavor and cuz it was cool.
Going to use Inkbird to keep ferm temp at 62 degrees per BYO article by Jamil who states this is a good temp.
Brew Day was adventurous. May have mismeasured grains as it was very watery and did not look like wort. Reading was at 1.020, no bueno. So after consulting with a close friend I decided to do another mash for 60 mins adding the rest of my bohemian pilsner malt.
Much better!! Wort looked and tasted good after boil. Got my 3 gallons and did a reading at 1.060 on hydrometer and 1.045 on refractometer. Nonetheless I will have an interesting beer in a week or so.
