Notes

Wanted to try 7.5 oz of chocolate Rye instead of carafa l 300L. (above does not have a listing for 300L carafa). Original recipe 7.5 chocolate rye. 9.5 oz crystal 40. 9.5 oz crystal 120

For water 12.1 lbs grain x .3 = 3.63 gal and x .75 = 2.72 for sparge = 6.08 total for water. This makes preboil amount about 4.5gal. I added water during boil through grains about 2 gallons checking gravity. Post boil 5.5 gal with OG 1.060.

I added 5ml lactic acid during mash Ph was 5.18
