Notes

Notes from a previous batch:

From the huge thread at http://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=80344, swapping in WLP080 Cream Ale blend instead of Kolsch yeast. OG 1.047 FG 1.006 ABV 5.4% 5/21/15 - Yeast starter. Vials are mail ordered, and I'm always worried when they arrive warm, ice packs and all. 5/23/15 - Brew day. Nothing irregular, huzzah. It's been 316 days since the last brewery mishap. 6/10/15 - FG 1.006 - Fermenter initially set for 65F, and raised to 72F in the last week. Fermentation complete, set chamber to cold crash. 6/12/15 - Beer rested at 35F for 24 hours. Clear, straw colored, gorgeous. Primed and bottled. Tasted the last 4 oz from the bucket, the initial overwhelming corn flavor (non-DMS) has died off considerably, leaving a well balanced lawnmower beer.

August 2019

Grain to glass in about two weeks. Force carbed instead of bottling this time around. Easy drinking.
