Man I really need to brew. Wedding activities are ramping up and my weekends are disappearing. The golden ale is gone and I could do another batch. I'd like to get a festbier going. I have a box of minute rice leftover from a big dinner and have wanted to brew Wayne's cold IPA for a while. And Josh helped me put together a dunkel recipe I want to brew as well.

What a tough life!

The hard part is deciding which recipe to brew. I know it is for me.

As a fellow outdoor, propane brewer I feel your pain. Supposed to be clear Friday here so I’m hoping it stays that way.

I have 10 pounds of Crisp Chevalier heritage. Hoping to try a best bitter tomorrow morning.
I'll use 8.5 pounds of the Chevalier
EKG and Northern Brewer for Hops,
SO4 for Yeast.

I'm just fermenting one now, but I think I want to do my Mutt Lager next. Essentially, it is a Porter with flaked corn instead of flaked oats, 34/70 instead of WLP004, and Crystal instead of Fuggle.

I have a couple of brews I want to get done in the next couple of weeks.
1. Chimay Grand Reserve (Blue) clone
2. Simple SMaSH using El Dorado, 2 row and Cellar Science Cali yeast

Of course, this can and probably will change.

I make a SMaSH with El Dorado and 2-row, with kviek that turns out excellent. I have also turned it into a SMaTH and add BRU-1. I didn't notice a change in taste or aroma so I'll probably go back to just using El Dorado.

Pair Bru-1 with Sabro and Citra. You'll get tropical fruit.

I'll have to try adding these. But, I'll definitely keep the El Dorado because I love its Pineapple flavor & aroma. In fact, the name of the beer is "Pineapple SMaSH".

Planning to brew Jaipur on Sunday. I watched a Malt Miller video where they toured the Thornbridge plant. At the end of the video the dude gave out the recipe. I had Jaipur a number of years ago when in Pitt for a football weekend, it left an impression on me.

Planning to Brew @Sunfire96 's quarterly recipe Saturday, will be racking it onto the VOSS yeast cake from Sunday's brew. This will be a first for me. Will be a busy day, I will be kegging while mashing
