Had a couple of PBRs between rounds of yard work earlier today. It's always in style around my house.

Tapped both brews from New Years today, not good. One is not fit for human consumption, the other is drinkable, but disappointing. Had too much boil off on both and the adjustments I made...I could have done better.

Pulled out a BC Stout for quality control. 2018 could have waited a couple more years but we suffered through it. Was suppose to travel to nephews for a wknd of food, BC stouts and fun but as we all know... Sometimes you just have to "STAY THE F*CK AT HOME!"

I found this inexpensive brew while shopping at Trader Joe’s today. In general, I try to buy things produced locally, but I am open to trying new things, even if they come all the way from Portland, Maine (I am in California). The beer is certified organic, has a.b.v. 7.1%, and is hopped with citra, simcoe and amarillo. At $7.99 per six pack, it is relatively cheap. And it tastes good.
