What are you doing with homebrew today?

Citra and galaxy are a good combo. Citra and Mosaic are good together too. Should be very islandy and fruity.
Are you referring to Hawaii when you said Islandy? :D

Boiling a Red IPA and drinking some of my wet hop pale ale. I also rigged up a new sparge arm. Curious if my efficiency will go up with recirculation.

Howd the wet hop beer go?

How'd you go about hopping it all at the end of the boil Dry hop?

What hops?

Looks a nice lite pale ale colour.

Moved Uncle Gene's Chocolate Cherry Smoked Stout into a purged keg with tincture of 4oz cocoa nibs and 1 vanilla bean. Debating whether to bottle last half gallon of Razzle Dazzle. Bumped up CO2 on Crocker Park Lager, which is cold crashing.

All at the end of the boil. It's a decent beer, but not mind blowing hoppyness. Dry hopping would probably have been a better use, but I didn't want to use whole cones in the fermenter. I think they were Cascade, but I'm not exactly sure

Just finished bottling my Wheat Ale, which despite what the sample shows is an exceptionally clear brew. This started with O.G. of 1.044 and finished at 1.007 using US-05, for apparent attenuation of 84%.
Now that the local beer joint (The Friendly Garden) has closed until at least April 2024, I will be trying to make most of what I will be drinking for the next 6 months. Another favorite here in town, Ninkasi’s Better Living Room is closing for good today. They will still be making beer, but we lose a fantastic location for sipping pints with good pub food.

If that ain’t a Christmassy beer I’ve never heard of one. That’s gonna be tasty.

Man I hate to see good establishments close. The few good microbreweries we have around here don’t serve food. Maybe the additional headaches of food and beer processing and inspections have a bit of a negative impact.
