Welcome to the forums

Hi Brewers, joined Brewers Friend about six months ago, Previously, I used Promash but it's so far out of date I needed to find a better solution so ended up here.
My experience in brewing is as follows: Started reading about all grain brewing in late 1999 through the Usenet groups. By 2001 I was asking questions and by 2002 I went on the hunt for all-grain ingredients here in Adelaide, Australia. Very sparse in those days but managed to get some stuff and made my first all-grain beer. Pretty awfull but still better than extract. Skip forward and I have been continuously brewing since then. I mainly concentrate on Lagers and can pretty much brew them with my eyes shut but still branch out into modern styles like NEIPA's, American style IPA's along with more traditional styles like ESB's and the forever holy grail...Czech lagers.
I now class myself as an experienced homebrewer. This has come through years of experience, never stopping learning stuff, listening to people and being as engaging as I possibly can. Steve Wilkins, Adelaide, Ausralia. :)
Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to Brewers Friend!

Ceaigerrrr whispers:
How does the new guy get to create a new sub forum for himself?

Hello, fellow brewers! I recently purchased an electric Clawhammer 10 Gallon BIAB system, along with an Anvil 7 Gallon Crucible Fermenter, and am really looking forward to getting this system up and running soon! I need to clear a space and install a vent system there, so it might be awhile until I get all that done.

If anyone has any suggestions or tips they wish to share, I would be appreciative.

Dude that's some nice kit right there nice!
Your new to brewing?
As far as vents go for steam extraction a lot of brewers are going the "Steam condenser" route these days over a hooded overtop extraction fan.
The condensate usually pools on the hood and drips back into the kettle.

Would love to lay eyes on what you've got BTW a bit I'd kettle porn;):p!

Not only nice kit, also very big ;)

Hello all dear forum members, my name is Alex, I am new to our business, I came here to get some initial set of knowledge, now I want to take a not expensive set of equipment that would try to weld my first batch, for now I will go to look at the topics for beginners! See you later!

Welcome Alex

Welcome to the forum Alex! After you read the new brewer topics, start asking questions. We're a helpful bunch who brew big and small batches on expensive to cheap systems with some DIY thrown in as well. Someone here is bound to have a system like yours, whatever that system looks like.
