Hey yall, https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/embed/1453157 I thought this would be a good beer style for the hot months on the beach. I was going for a 4.5% session brown or amber ale. The recipe started out as a Nut brown hence the victory malt, I left it since i feel like it adds...

House ale yeast opinions! US-05 vs. ???

Hey yall, I love my Voss yeast, but it is not always the best option, plus it tends to be pretty expensive. I am looking for a cheaper alternative for a general house ale yeast. This would primarily be used for ambers, stouts, maybe pale ales, and the occasional golden ale? Im mainly looking...

Thoughts on Voss/Nova Lager fermentation temps

Hey yall, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with fermenting Voss at lower temps(towards the bottom of its range). 77-104 is the full range, with 95-104 being the optimal? I am currently fermenting out a medium ABV IPA(around 6.5% target) and it has been killing it. I knocked out...

    Manual ingredient order changes

It would be very nice to be able to rearrange the order of ingredients(malt and hops specifically). I would like to be able to group my hops by time/temp of the additions. I would like to be able organize the malt based on what needs to be milled vs what is a flaked product.
