06/29/30: Mashed in with 10.5 L, rest 10' at 128 F. Removed decoction, and accidentally left the heat on during the rest period - may have deactivated too many enzymes? Boil, add back to main mash, rest 20 minutes at 151 F. Raise to 156 F and rest 10 minutes, raise to 165 F for mash out. Lauter, sparge, collect run-off as usual. Cool to 65 F, and gravity only 1.038 - very low efficiency. Boiled 1 lb of pilsner DME, cooled and added to wort to make up for efficiency. Primary fermentation at 52 F.
07/14/30: Racked to keg. Gravity 1.010. Beer slight cloudy.
