Notes
  • When designing a recipe with a lot of hops, design it for 2 gallons more than the desired finishing amount. Liquid loss is no joke with hops.

  • When whirlpooling a lot of hops, turn off the pump after you are done. Cooling the wort and turning off the pump will help settle out the hop debris and therefore will not get into your primary fermentation vessel. Way too much hop debris got into it. It looked like swamp water.
