Craigerrr's Travels

So @Craigerrr you are a millionaire, at least for a couple of minutes. :p

Here in Atlanta our house is valued at 150% of what we paid 6 years ago. Crazy.

Well, I felt like a millionaire for a brief moment!

I thought that the housing market was just a phenomenon here in Canada...
It is a total sellers market right now, so many buyers, and so few homes for sale.
Some here believe that the issue is that there are not enough new homes being built, housing starts here are actually down.
The Gov should maybe put incentives in place for builders, new home buyers, and even Real Estate Agents to try and stimulate new builds.
All I can say for certain is that this has worked out amazingly well for us at this time.
Usually nothing like this ever goes right for me:eek:

They have. Any you benefitted to the tune of $130k over asking.

Ahh, the power of free markets.

Our property values have actually went down a little. They do not inspect anything here so it’s just guessing for them.

The great thing about real estate is that it may ebb and flow, but it will ALWAYS go up over time.

This is from last night when we arrived

Man that looks cold. I want to travel to warm places, our little country has been dark and grim for months :)

As the afternoon went on we started shedding our warms. Off with the hats, then unzipped the coats, then off with the coats, got down to sweaters, then the temp started dropping so back indoors.
It was a great sunny afternoon outside by the fire!
Today, mix of snow and rain, a little warmer at 3C, but definitely a day to be indoors!

Sunny and 6C this morning, but the wind makes it feel more like brrrrr degrees C
Warmer days are closer now.
April showers will bring May flowers:D

Warmer days are a plane ride in the opposite direction :)
There is a brief period of time between turning off the heat in our homes in late spring, and turning the air conditioning on in early summer, then again, the opposite occurs in the fall.
I truly love the seasons, always the next one to look forward to.
What we don't have here are hurricanes (except on the east coast), tornados (well occasionally), earth quakes, floods, deadly insects, or venomous creatures (rattle snakes, but you never see them).
I am a huge fan of hockey, if not for winter there would be no such sport, so I always look forward to the fall for hockey season to start again.
