You know you did it wrong when...

Oops, recipe called for 8 pounds 2 row and 1/4 pound Caramel Crystal 10.
Hmmm
Where did that bag go? It got the full one pound bag of the Caramel Crystal 10.
I ended up with 7 pounds 2 row and a full pound of Caramel Crystal 10.
Could be worse. 8 lbs crystal 10 and 1/4 pound 2-row…

Please let us know how it turns out, I’m pretty interested in that

What are you brewing? that's 14% of the grain bill. That's appropriate for many styles,
besides 10L is pretty tasteless

My son made a keg cooler to take to a party
Nice one with a table top and tap on top.
Worked out great until the keg got a bit empty and the ice got good and melted.
I guess the table top came off and made a mess when the keg decided to float in the cooler.

I seem to have misplaced one of my TC seals, this should do the trick until I get some spares...

I got home late last night, thought I would have a glass beer. Pulled the tap, filled the glass... wow thats light and clear looking for my Kona Big Wave clone. Took a few sips. That is Lynn's Lager. My October fest beer. Mixed up the lines when I loaded up the kegerator. But I now know my party brew is drinkable.

Bummer Dude!

You know you did it wrong you assemble, sanitize, and hook up your brand new counter pressure bottle filler before you check the CO2 regulator and find you are out of CO2...and your LHBS closed 30 minutes ago and is closed for the next two days.

When you are running low on base malt and have no idea where to get the next lot from....
When decide on that beer you haven't done in a while or a new beer, which uses one special ingredient. You know you have it, so you set up for it, start prep, all they way through grinding the grist only to find you are missing one key ingredient; yeast, malt, whatever.
Of COURSE there is zero chance of you procuring this in time for the brew...
