I brewed today!

Brewed my Bunyip today.
No chilling in kettle ATM with 30g each of talus citra and mosaic.
This is going into fermentasaurs at ambient which I believe is around 20c.

Nice colour looking forward to this one it always tastes good!
Oh smacked my target on the head 1.048:)
 
Well it was actually on Tuesday but my buddies and I brewed a West Coast with fresh hops. It was a great day..... a little bigger batch at 200L but I’m sure it will be enjoyed once kegged.

Tis that time of year all the best Brian.
Doing anything different this year I still remember your comment on my Moctoberfest beer I did years ago that I remember was Munich 2 that gave that extra colour.

Well I already brewed it once and also a Helles, so this will be done on the yeast from the Helles.
I had a major blowout on the first festbier and had to transfer quickly and lost most of my yeast so it'll be interesting to see how this one comes out on the other yeast

Shortened boil to 30 mins and going 50g of tettnanger at flame out.

In hindsight maybe I should FWH that tettnanger.

Oh I really love these chem gloves I got on my last order no more hot sticky wort and slippery suds I rekon a great investment

Good gloves, I found out early on in brewing are a must. I bought some insulated rubber coated BBQ gloves have not felt the heat or stick, sticky.
