Target Water Profile
Light colored and hoppy
Notes
Testing out 0.125 gal / oz of hops absorption as trub
Using US-05 because my starter flask exploded
Testing huge amounts of hops at the end with no dry hop
resulting volume (with small addition in mash): 5 gal clear, 1.7 gal truby. Obviously pre-boil volume was too low and not efficient enough. Put 5.9 gals in the fermenter which included truby stuff.
SHITTY EFFICIENCY but tastes hoppy at least. might add some sugar for booze and dryness. Next time add 4 ml lactic acid to mash water and measure carefully.
