Notes

steeped grains 45 min, 165 degrees in small pot using 2 gallons of water.

brought 3.5 gallons to temp (160) in outside boiler then rinsed grains and added steeped water. brought total water amount to just over 6 gallons

added 5min to boil time (with only the first hops added) to account for excess water.

finished brewing, cooling, moved to fermenting unit - and added 0.75 gallons water to = 5 gallons total (this includes liquid in the sediment catcher)

Yeast was manufactured in 7/2018 (just shy of the recommended 3 month time limit)

Fermented @ 67 degrees for 4 weeks
