added 1/8 tsp lactic acid to mash and to sparge water.
Boil-off rate was set too low, ended up adding ~ 1 qt to bring volume up to 5 gal. The efficiency would have been higher with the additional water in the sparge, too. |

added fermentation hops (8 day) in the morning. stirred them into the wort right away and in the evening. |

Initially VG. Got the same "bitter" taste and loss of juiciness that has been plaguing all of our NEIPA's of late. |
