Notes

11/4/17
Basically this was intended to be an Old Rasputin clone, but sadly I missed my OG so this is barely even an Imperial Stout!

This was too much grain/water for the GF and it nearly overflowed during the mash! So I drew some off and mashed about 1.5 gallons separately on the stove. Maybe this is related to why efficiency was so low. Wasn't able to keep a smooth running circulation........
Used ph stabilizer, irish moss, and yeast nutrient.
Yielded 6 gallons in the fermentor, with some leftover in the kettle too. This implies way too much water was used. Maybe need to revise the GF water calculations...
Fermented in storage unit at 64 degrees.

Update on Jan 10 2018: tasting great! Smooth and easy to drink. Very little hop or coffee notes.
