OVERALL IMPRESSIONS:
Beer shows promise and could be a great beer given more late hop additions.
Personal Comments:
Very high scoring in regards to mouthfeel, which i feel is attributed by the wheat and carapils malt. Scoring affected as beer style is APA but we were attempting an 'XPA' with minimal malt backbone.
Next recipe has had malt adjusted from munich 1 - crystal 60 at same rates. Bittering add will be removed and all bittering will come from late hopping. Total late hops will increase from 60g to 160g, and dry hopping will increase slightly.
Carbonation was affected due to poor technique, sugar not being dissolved properly. Also look at filtering beer into secondary as many bottles have malt sediments.
