I only used a total of 8 gallons in this recipe. I used 4 for the mash (at an R of 1.20) and 4 for the sparge. I mashed for 45 minutes and then did 3 rounds of Vorlauf (good grain bed made by end, wort running clear of particulate). Then batch sparged with 4 gallons of who the fuck knows temp (thermometer dropped in mash tun). Upon starting the boil, the water level looked better than recent batches (which have all been too high in the end due to shitty burners).
OG: 1060
Racked to 2ndry on 10/14. Tasted very light. Not sure how much is going on flavor wise
Dry hopped on evening of 10/27/15 with indicated hops
11/1/15 bottled at 2.45 volumes of CO2 (3.3 oz in 4 gallon batch)
Flavor upon bottling was nice and hoppy with wheat character. Not much on the nose pre-carb.
