Mash settled on 152F (target, dead on): read 150 before stirring, came up to 152 once stirred to a properly mixed temp. Dropped to ~145F by mash end over the 60-min rest. Mash pH 5.09 hot on Milwaukee MW102 = ~5.39 temp-corrected, on target, no baking soda. |

No pure-O2 aeration. Splash aeration only: wort ran in through the open top of the fermenter (lid off) so it splashed down off the CFC hose (Chris's standard method, judged plenty). Planned 12h second aeration dropped given the healthy fast start. |
