Here's a salute to @Sunfire96 (Hazy Neipa).:D 20210620_151614.jpg Sampling the 3rd version of my Early Warning IPA. Just transferred to the keg. So for this one is better than the 1st 2.

Moved to some Spaten Optimator, a doppelbock brewed since the 1300s (albeit probably somewhat differently then)

Oh yeah! Back in 1990, I joined with several friends on a bachelor party trip to Munich. We drank plenty from Spaten.

ESB in the obligatory Father’s Day glass.

On a side note this is an example of no old crash, dump it all in the fermenter, no gelatin, no filtering etc. just whirlfloc and a good flocculating yeast. F4625795-4993-4007-8C85-4E6638C77BD2.jpeg

Mile Wide BUKU - American Imperial Stout

    10%
Poured out of the can like motor oil, thick and viscous, black as night. Big notes of sweet chocolate and finishes with an alcohol warmth. After all of the summer beers I’ve had this weekend, this is a nice sensory reset.
