Just put this batch of Janets Brown in the keg about 10hrs ago. Just tasting for quality control. Wonderful beer. Note the lacing already with 15# of co2 and 100 shakes. Had been cold crashed in fermenter for 24hrs.
Janet's Brown says we be good on the volumes in kegs. Had to take a drink before the pic. Can't set it down. Great year for this beer. Dammit Janet!
Kolsch K97-3 -2 Was a dumped... this one isn't to style it's got 400g carahell in it and dry hopped with Wakatu hence no straw colour plus it's 3 days in the keg I'm desperate for some HB... oh no Gelatin on transfer with this one will see if it clears up. Also tried 1g table salt in this one for chloride contribution just to mix things up still 4g chloride and 2g sulphate. It tastes well rounded atm but a young beer so time will tell.
A tad embarrassed to post up cause I typically like to get beers a little clearer. It's just freshly tapped so it may clear up a bit more, but this one was mostly brewed to test out my mash tun bag for my cooler tun. 50% wheat 50% pilsen. Both from Rootshoot Malting. It tastes great! Just a bit tough to see through lol.
Had me a glass of Brooklyn Brew Shop's Double Lemon Meringue Pie IPA. I think it came out pretty good. Lightly floral, nice hop character without much bitterness, and the lemon was subtle. I'll be making this again.
