Snowpocalyse!

Tomorrow for us is March
We get summer for 9 months now with fall packed into December and early January, if we're lucky, and spring shoved into mid February until late March or so. All the cold is packed into 2 or 3 life-threatening days within about 6 weeks centered on Groundhog Day. :D :D

Cold here as well this morning.
Wearing longs & T-shirt, no socks though (although I think I need to buy some)
About 22 oC (72 F) now, but rising to 28 (82 F) :)

It was in the mid 80s yesterday. The cold stuff starts tonight for us, and I might get a hard freeze next weekend.

We are out of school again tomorrow. Kids have work to do so it doesn't really count as a school day and we do not have to make it up. Sophie has been working an hour on her work. Im the athletic director who teaches only 3 electives, they probably AI'ed the essay I gave them to do haha.

Both my sister and someone from church are heading to Florida this week for vacations. Both of them are like WTF Florida?? Granted, the temperatures there will be much warmer than here but, they really need at least 80°F to be an effective antidote to subzero temps we have up north here.

we got 24" and some chilly weather I always worked out door and my wife and I would go to an Island or the Yucatan every February for a break
Florida weather is kind of sporadic

We aren't going to freeze tonight, but very close to it. North and west, it will freeze tonight.

Almost a quarter inch of ice, but the roads were dry this morning.

24" of snow!
Holy Jamoly!
We got about 8 or 10 inches here

Well, I'm sure I won't get the pity party, but even this far south, midday, it is only in the mid 40s. So, I guess this thing is for real. Right now, the forecast for this weekend has it colder than it has been for years. We are supposed to have a low of 25 over the weekend. Not much for y'all that live up north, but it doesn't happen very much in the middle of Florida. I keep thinking of what there is of the citrus groves left. I guess somebody will develop another 100,000 homes.

Was -4F here yesterday. :p

2 days post storm and interstates and minor highways are clear. Busy streets have at least 1 lane in either direction. Everything else has 2 inches of solid ice, including my parking lot. Guess I don't need to leave the house this week
