Tomorrow for us is March

We get summer for 9 months now with fall packed into December and early January, if we're lucky, and spring shoved into mid February until late March or so. All the cold is packed into 2 or 3 life-threatening days within about 6 weeks centered on Groundhog Day.

@Zambi. The tv news crews here have been saking watchers to send in pictures of theie snow and ice disasters. I keep thinking I should send in one of your pictures of the elephants and Rhinos wandering up the river...

It was in the mid 80s yesterday. The cold stuff starts tonight for us, and I might get a hard freeze next weekend.

We are out of school again tomorrow. Kids have work to do so it doesn't really count as a school day and we do not have to make it up. Sophie has been working an hour on her work. Im the athletic director who teaches only 3 electives, they probably AI'ed the essay I gave them to do haha.

Both my sister and someone from church are heading to Florida this week for vacations. Both of them are like WTF Florida?? Granted, the temperatures there will be much warmer than here but, they really need at least 80°F to be an effective antidote to subzero temps we have up north here.
