My husband thoroughly enjoying "My Pale Friend" which after primary fermentation, didn't taste like much. A bit of honey and some dry hopping in the secondary and WOW. The character of this juicy pale exploded into epic action movie status.

Not worth the $1.50 it costs for a new one. I keep spares on hand of both the S type and 3 piece.

S-shapes are easier to clean than people say. Flush with water, Shake well.

I keep a blowoff attached to another rubber stopper in the chamber so I can quickly swap if/when it gets crazy.

the best thing to do when bubbling over is take it out and leave it out until its controllable, nothing can get in as long as its pushing out

I really would love to use that photo and the recipe as the "Recipe of the Month" in the newsletter, if you wouldn't mind. I love the photo, and I love the idea of brewing a Fest beer right now. What do you say?
