OK. I think there has been some work in the area - and it may be still ongoing - but I have discovered an inconsistency in handling the Fermentis brand of Yeasts.
I am trying to handle my Inventory and comparing that with data exported from each of my recipes - and herein is the problem: What is in the recipe is NOT always what is exported. It would be nice if everything was handled one way or the other.
An example follows of what is going wrong.
There are three screenshots taken for two similar Fermentis yeasts.
First is during the Edit mode,
Second is during a View Mode and
Third is of the Export Text mode from the View screen.
1)Using a Fermentis - Safbrew - General/Belgian Yeast S-33 yeast
EDIT
VIEW
The same Yeast value.
EXPORT
All the same.
2)Using a Fermentis - Safale - American Ale Yeast US-05 yeast
EDIT
VIEW
So far both the same... but
EXPORT TEXT
Something has gone wrong here.
There are other Fermentis yeasts that display the same problem.
So far I have not found problems with the other brands I have in Inventory.
Have fun Mark.
