I think many of us like the look at batch number milestones and stuff like that. I apparently missed batch 150 (Helles) and so the light lager was 151. On that 150 I may have made something a little more special. But I love Helles and plan to keep it on tap so I’m ok with it.

I like to experiment with a couple of things and then go back a brew something I have done before. I think I'm going to try a Dunkelweizen next and see what happens.

Do you brew/boil in the garage?

Yes and no. The electric kettle I use to heat mash water is in the garage. I let that run into the mash cooler, so I’m mashing in the garage. I then move the cooler to sit on an old washing machine and transfer to the boil kettle there. It sits at the edge of the open garage door. I then move that forward 3 feet to be outside the garage. If it rains I can move it back a few feet. There are also two open windows in the garage while I’m in there doing anything brewing related.
