Only if you keep your damn seltzers off my lawn!!!!!So, I guess we are going to have the Pilsner fest at Bigbre's place sponsored by Untappd![]()
Sounds like you need to sign up to be a judge at some competitions! You could set 'em straight for sure!It might work if not only showing they won a comp but showing me 2nd 3rd and 4th
Then seeing who they actually competed against would maybe spark my interest
naw.Sounds like you need to sign up to be a judge at some competitions! You could set 'em straight for sure!![]()
Only if it's televised with people prancing around holding up their beerSounds like you need to sign up to be a judge at some competitions! You could set 'em straight for sure!![]()
Yes! So much better than a bunch of dorks arguing about whether it's just the right amount of diacetyl!Only if it's televised with people prancing around holding up their beerlike a dog show
Now that I’d almost pay to see. Drink six of these suckers then run zig-zag through them sticks…Only if it's televised with people prancing around holding up their beerlike a dog show
Or a Revenge of the Nerds style Tricycle Race LOL.Only if it's televised with people prancing around holding up their beerlike a dog show
So is the beer that entered and won the comp better than the beer that wasn't entered?
Again, doesn't matter which beer is ultimately better. It matters which beer you paid money to try. And since you assume that "better" is completely subjective, it won't matter what the beer actually tastes like.
And since it sounds like you're not just neutral to the judging and awards process but actively prejudiced against it, their marketing strategy will never work on you.![]()

Yeah...I tend to try to minimize the number of samples in any given sitting. One of my pet peeves is a customer who's holding up the line trying to make up their mind and trying beer after beer. It invariably seems to be someone who doesn't know much about styles or beers in general. Often I'll have a quick taste of something that may be hit or miss like a lager or kolsch style in order to confirm that it's well-executed but usually it's down to comparing a couple of different IPAs.I used to feel bad asking for a taste of this and that but at today's prices I don't feel bad anymore
I do the same. i will compare ipa offerings because there can be so much variation, but in general i can drink a lager or an amber ale.Yeah...I tend to try to minimize the number of samples in any given sitting.
