2.5 Gal of unpasteurized apple cider from a blend of apples (unknown) from local farmer's market. Truly fresh pressed, nothing added, may have natural bacteria. OG of cider was 1.056 @ 60F.
Added 7 oz turbinado sugar dissolved in 6 oz of boiled RO water to boost gravity to 1.064. Used 7/8 of a full packet of US-05 dry yeast. Did not re-hydrate. Splashed cider into fermenter (2.5 gal corny with spunding valve) to lightly oxygenate.
