  • need nutrient for Lach
  • the wort will have no DO after Lach is finished, but should be fine with a healthy pitch of chico
  • lach should finish dextrose>acid fermentation within 72hr (likely shorter)
  • pH targets for this recipe
    • 8-10# dextrose ~ 3.3-3.5 finishing pH
    • 5-7# dextrose ~ 3.5-3.7 finishing pH
  • SG should be around 1.048 when Lach is finished and 1bbl of Chico should then be pitched.
