Notes

I have used a little known Australian hop bred by Hop Products Australia. The hop is Helga also known as Southern Hallatau. Although the hop never gained popularity, it was said by those who used it to be an excellent continental larger hop. HPA has just ceased production of the hop. I thought I would give it a go. It’s aroma in the foil bag was excellent. I am excited to seen what it produces in the beer.

I used Atlas malted grain from Voyager, a Australian boutique malt producer. It produced a very very clean wort with an excellent malt aroma. I will definitely use this grain again. Much better than Joe White.
