Quick Water Requirements
Water Liters
WARNING: Boil kettle capacity (45.4 L) exceeded. Volume required: 106.96 L. Suggest reducing initial water volume to 45.4 L and adding 61.56 L sparge/top-off.
WARNING: Mash tun capacity exceeded. Volume required: 112.84 L. Suggest reducing initial water volume to 42.76 L and adding 67.44 L sparge/top-off. 110.2
Heat water added to kettle (equipment estimates 97.2 L) 110.2
Mash volume with grains (equipment estimates 97.2 L) 112.8
Grain absorption losses (steeping) -4
Mash Lauter Tun losses -0.9
Volume increase from sugar/extract (early additions) 13.8
Pre boil volume (equipment estimates 107 L) 120
Boil off losses -5.7
Hops absorption losses (first wort, boil, aroma) -1.3
Post boil volume 100
Going into fermentor 100
WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

NOTE that the DRY HOP volumes used here are sized for an 80 LITRE BATCH. This means that the actual volumes to add to a Stewart Brewing 40L Fermenter is HALF the volumes listed here.
e.g. the actual volume used in Fermenter:

• 35g Admiral Pellets
• 35g First Gold Leaf
• 100g Olicana Pellet
NOTE that the alcohol %ABV is incorrect due to the addition of the malts into the fermentables tab. To get a value for correct ABV , set the volumes of all the DRY fermentables to 0.1KG

ISSUE: The Flavour hops were added for 7 minutes at 15 mins into the boil due to user errorThey were then removed and re-added at 7 minutes from the end
