Notes

Low-alcohol traditional Australian beer. Not lagered because homebrewing. Amazingly using 25% of the malt did result in it being low alc just like that, not watery, just pale colour, distinct Carlton Draught-like lingering taste.

45 min 69C mash for medium to full body. Trying to avoid a 1% beer feeling thin.

Not sold on the aroma hop choice, requires testing. Do CUB just use Pride at boil and nothing else? Or again late?

--- 21/1/26 It's still conditioning, but there's nothing on the nose. More than 10g Saaz is an option, but next go around I will double down and aroma hop with Pride of Ringwood. Next batch will also introduce smoked malt to add another bogan dimension. Carbonate more than 2.25 vols next time. Also adding Carafoam to help produce head foam.

-- 6/03/26 Pride was not a good choice for aroma hop. It's muggy with some citrus, but Saaz produced such a nicer beer.
