Starter with 7oz DME and 2 liters water. Creates 360B cells. Supposedly needed 440B for a correct starter size. Didn't have enough DME so went with what I had. |

Mash gravity is a total guess since they changed the required numbers for efficiency calculations. I did not actually take the measurement. |

Brought wort temp down to 57 degrees. Put into fermentation chamber to drop it to 49. Will pitch yeast a 49. |

Very infrequent bubbles on day one, but beer is steadily bubbling away on the morning of the second day. Certainly typical of lagers fermented at 50 degrees. |

Turned up the temp by a degree twice during the day. Final day end temp was 52. |
