Got here August 2021. After almost 3 years we have outgrown the 1 bed/1 bath apartment. In June we're moving to another neighborhood in the city with a bigger floor plan. I'm very excited!

Doing another batch of my bourbon barrel aged imperial stout. It turned out really good last time. Gonna add a little black patent 580L this time to tone down the sweet and add some ashtray

I’ll be using Perle, tradition and Hersbrucker. Weihenstephaner uses those hops in theirs. I will only be doing one decoction though.

Got hold of a few interesting kits from a discontinued Muntons' series and planning on the 'Oaked Ale' for my next brew mid June. Assuming this is an English Ale but not 100% on that.
Thinking about a reworked version of my old Cream Ale recipe, been a couple years since I made it last.

next up for me, probably not until July will be my 2024 Joshtoberfest. This will be the third year for having a gathering on fall break with a home brewed Oktoberfest type beer. 2022 I did a Marzen last year a Festbier. Still working on my plan. Double yeasts? Hmmm....I may have to try that some day. And of course no one can refuse Schweddy hops?
If you're looking for a name for it you could name it "Strange Brew" after the song by Cream. I was listening to that song a few days ago and thought it would be a good name for a Cream Ale that was a little outside the box.

Love that idea. I named my Cream Ale "Cream Sh-Boogie Bop" in honor of Prince. Loved his music, especially that song. Not sure how many get the reference though.Double yeasts? Hmmm....I may have to try that some day. And of course no one can refuse Schweddy hops?
