I was in London last week. I'm not as fond of Cod. I like when we do it with Mahi in Florida. I ended up eating some pub food, but I was digging the Indian Food when I was over there. Hope y'all have a good time. When I got back last night it wasn't nearly as hot as it was before I left, so I hope it stays that way for you.

Haddock fish. I’m a simple people. I like fish n chips anytime

Josh,
I was shocked how big the IPAs were in London. It seemed like everywhere had them, but they were much more sessionable than ours.
It was almost easier to find an IPA than a Special Bitters LOL.

British IPA is a much more balanced beer than what Americans have done to the style
I brew a Harpoon knockoff which is a British IPA
Harpoon has brewed that since before the modern take on IPA
Still a pretty popular tap
I'll be on Cape COD next week
I'll be drinking those with my oysters

Yep lots of marketing with it. But yeah most are 4%. I need to get back there.

I like a good dry Stout with oysters, and really the only one I can get easily without brewing it is Guinness. (and yes, I toss the liquor in the glass as I eat them!)

Not correct anymore. The versions I had in London were essentially a session American style IPA with modern hops. A couple of the breweries I visited actually had a New England.

Nothing wrong with that glass. I bet we all have a cupboard full of them. A friend has show off shelves in his garage with glasses from a couple hundred breweries.
My homemade portable tapper uses the soda stream CO2 bottles you can get at Wally World in a pinch .
